this is genius. i think desserts in a jar would make a really wonderful wedding favor/dessert idea.

Although I make jewelry myself, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with lusting over a gorgeous piece made by someone else.

Whipped up by the crafty ladies of Posh Paperie, this DIY cake topper is something I’d love to do for my wedding (are you bored of the word “wedding” already? Hehe) but can be easily modified for a different occasion or theme. Not only is there a handy tutorial for the cake topper but there’s a tutorial of how to make the ruffle cake thanks to Melody of My Sweet & Saucy (yay!).

I can’t get enough of paper flowers & these paper flower party decor is right up my alley & totally something I’m thinking of doing for my wedding (yes, the next couple of days is going to be ALL about my upcoming wedding!). You like?

I just love this cake topper I spotted while blog shopping. The quote is French, by philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau which reads, “Aimer et ĂȘtre aimĂ© sera la grande affaire de toute notre vie” & translates “To love and be loved will be the greatest event in our lives.” I’d love to have something similar at my wedding coming soon (so soon in fact, I’m on constant panic mode now). Here’s the tutorial & free download.

i just read this post about how a couple decided to surprise their engagement party guests & have their wedding instead! it took them a mere 7 days to plan the whole thing. it’s a really touching story & reminded me to not stress over the details because at the end of the day, all i want is to be married to the love of my life. read the story here & be prepared to get teary-eyed.

did anyone watch the golden globes this morning? i have to admit that even though i couldn’t be bothered with celebrity gossip, i do have a love of seeing celebrities all dressed up in gorgeous gowns & dresses. this time around however, i was paying attention to the makeup & hair as well to draw inspiration for my wedding keeping in note that i am fair with dark hair & dark eyes, & that the theme is 1950’s

love the video promoting Chronicle Books’ Handmade Weddings of which i just a copy from Kinokuniya. it’s an adorable book that i think is a must-buy for the crafty bride but hey, if you’re not getting married anytime soon, just get the book anyways for the lovely craft tutorials.

this idea for a rememberance table would be perfect for my wedding reception & it’ll eliminate the need to do the typical wedding montage with our baby pictures & solemnization.
i am so making these fabric flower brooches for my family to wear at the reception. well, that’s if they’ll wear it ofcourse! you can never tell with family sometimes as they might not like it at all but i think they’ll be a cute alternative to flowers + these will last a whole lot longer. yay to diy! instructions here.
i can’t get enough of macarons & i think a little box with a macaron at each place setting would be lovely + green wedding shoes made it even easier with a free printable label. don’t you just love the internet?
i just adore this banner. would love to have this at the entrance & the stage backdrop at our reception.

as i have a major sweet tooth, i’m really digging this candy bar idea that’s been floating around in my head. my only concern is that the candy bar will be empty before dinner is served! hehe

i’ve been obsessing over cake toppers lately & these are a few of my favorites that i found at my happy place – etsy!
who would’ve thought that this katy perry song would be awesome for a wedding… a really whimsical wedding with a romantic twist that is. totally crushing on the rescues now.
